The KGT Storage Box by CP—RV is a highly versatile storage box inspired by crates traditionally used for the transport of fruit and vegetables. Both portable and stackable — a tray that becomes a storage unit when multiplied, and, being made of fine grade aluminium, it is durable as well as fully recyclable.
For this Special Edition UTIL challenged DCAD to come up with a set of 4 new colours.
This new set of disruptive and fresh colours: pink, green, blue and purple, should stand out and be complementary to the existing rol, initially based in more neutral tones — we opted to explore what we consider to be utilitarian colours: used in public services, traffic signage or crayon sets; colours that are easily identifiable and familiar to the most of us.

Studio CP—RV
CP — RV is a collaborative project run by Camille Paillard and Romain Voulet, working between London and Marseille. Formed by designers gathered together from different backgrounds, the practice designs products, home furniture, interior spaces and things to live with.
DCAD
Duarte Caldas.Architecture Design is a Lisbon-Based Studio established in 2014, focused on architecture, interiors, furniture and light design. The practice strives to highlight the ineherent qualities of each space by enhancing them with unique, custom made solutions. Tecnhically, economically and culturally aware, DCAD projects range from bespoke furniture or site-specific installations to residential, comercial and hospitality spaces.
