The fifth annual Monocle Design Awards have landed. Celebrating the most impactful and inspiring work shaping our world, they continue the magazine’s tradition of identifying design excellence across a spectrum of disciplines.
This year’s awards once again recognise outstanding achievements in fields ranging from architecture to furniture design, as well as community-building initiatives and graphic communication. Assembled by our global team of editors and correspondents, with winners from 27 countries on six continents, they provide benchmarks for design excellence worldwide. “Whether its a well-thought-out typeface or a masterplan for a city, considered design can improve our lives,” says Nic Monisse, Monocle’s design editor.
“Our winning projects put people first. They are dedicated to improving environmental standards and our social wellbeing, and seek to elevate the everyday.”
