Shipping costs

We offer free shipping within the European Union and the UK on all orders above 100€. For other countries the shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. 

For Switzerland, Norway and the UK possible customs charges and national VAT will be charged directly by the local tax authorities and needs to be paid separately by the customer. Should you have further questions regarding additional charges please contact your local tax office.

 

Shipping time 

The delivery times for the Products are stated in the Web Shop, or otherwise separately agreed on with the customer. The shipping time information displayed on product pages and in the order confirmation email is an estimate and might be subject to change. Our average dispatch time may differ from 5 working days and 7 weeks depending on the product's availability and is stated on the website. 

With DHL parcel the estimated transit time is 4-5 working days. With DHL express the estimated transit time is 2-3 working days.

UTIL has no obligation to assure that the stated address provided by the customer is valid. Any and all costs levied upon UTIL due to incorrect address or failure to accept delivery will be charged to the customer. Products returned to UTIL due to failure to accept delivery will not be re-shipped and UTIL will have no obligation to refund the purchase price, and other charged costs, to the customer. This shall however not apply in the event the customer requests re-delivery within 14 days from the date of failure to accept delivery and pays the costs for the re-shipping.

Delivery is DAP (delivery at place) and excludes installation, removal of packaging and assembly.

Standard volumes  -  Parcel shipping 

UTIL uses DHL and DHL Express as the standard delivery services for parcel shipments. Once your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking link by email and/or text message, depending on the delivery country.

Larger Volumes - Freight shipping 

For larger volumes, UTIL most commonly uses DACHSER and DSV as the Freight forwarder.

Our delivery partner will contact you before the delivery to propose a delivery date and time frame with an option to reschedule this if the time is inconvenient. If you happen to not be at home at the agreed time of delivery, your item might be returned to the warehouse. In that case, you need to contact us to arrange a re-delivery. An extra delivery cost at the rate originally paid will occur.

Damaged Packaging

UTIL kindly asks you to check the received package for visible damage before signing off the Proof of delivery of the driver.
If the package is damaged please ask the driver to wait so you can check if the goods are in good shape.

Do not accept the package if either the packaging is damaged or if the goods are also damaged get in contact with UTIL by email at shop@thisisutil.com
