About

An open metal shelving system for books, tableware, or decorative pieces. The Plié Bookshelf is made from laser-cut aluminium sheets, folded into shape for a robust yet lightweight design. Comes flat-packed with detailed instructions for simple assembly.

Available in four powder-coated colours and a brushed aluminium finish, in two lengths: 180 cm (71 in) and 240 cm (94 in).

Designed by Cesare Bizzotto and Tobias Nitsche of FROM INDUSTRIAL DESIGN, the Plié Bookshelf is part of the Plié Shelving System, winner of the 2019 German Design Award. Produced in Portugal.

Is a collaboration between Cesare Bizzotto and Tobias Nitsche.
Known for developing innovative and forward-thinking solutions while keeping an edge in their aesthetics, the duo met during their masters degree at ECAL, Switzerland, and have been developing industrial products in the fields of furniture and lighting ever since. Plié, their shelving system design for UTIL, was awarded the German Design Award for Excellent Product Design in 2019
